via Style Me Pretty
So. I was skimming through Pinterest (standard), and in the “Weddings & Events” section I saw this image. The caption read “FINALLY!!! An Advent calendar that will get you through the Holidays!”*
It turns out that these bottles are actually table numbers from a wedding featured on Style Me Pretty, but that doesn’t even matter. Whoever interpreted it as an Advent Calendar definitely had the right idea.
While a bottle of wine per night for 25 days straight (at least between two people) is going to make for a somewhat expensive and possibly headache-ridden holiday season, I thought of a couple ways to make it work:
- An entire advent of Pommery Pop Champagne bottles in all different colors (my favorite idea!)
- 750ml bottles for Fridays and Saturdays, and splits for Sunday-Thursday
- A different craft or seasonal beer every night (at some stores you can find these sold in singles instead of 6-packs)
- Buy a different, nice bottle of wine for your collection each day of the Advent – no need to drink it that night. This would be a fun way to build your wine collection

These were actually a DIY project for a wedding featured on Style Me Pretty – I am guessing that the bride or wedding planner printed the labels and pasted them on the bottle, which doesn’t sound too hard!
