Happy New Year! Tim and I rang in 2012 (and his 30th birthday) at the Madonna Inn. It was wonderfully gaudy, the food was delicious, lots of bubbles were consumed, and there was a great photobooth (!). The party was a blast; we danced all night. The Madonna Inn is always all decked out in pink and gold, and I unintentionally dressed to match! (The dress I mentioned here didn’t end up working out, but I found this amazing pink frock to replace it!).

I loved my ruffly dress – it was perfect for such a celebratory evening, festive and unique. I think it would make a great bridesmaid dress, too. You can’t see my shoes in the photo below, but you can see all the birthday balloons I insisted on taking back to our room!
