I just started reading Parisian Chic by French style icon Ines de la Fressange. In the book, Ines provides “secrets” to emulate Parisian dress, entertainment, decor, travel, and more. She includes do’s and dont’s, how-to’s, tips, and “Golden Rules” and she also includes her favorite websites and shop addresses.
The book itself is reminiscent of a Moleskine journal, with a soft red cover and woven bookmark. The content is put together like a style scrapbook, with lots of color, drawings, snapshots, and lists. It is such a pleasure to read, and the content is fantastic.
Truth be told, I was so into reading this last night that I completely forgot to write this blog post until this morning (which is incredibly unlike me) – it’s just that much fun to read. If you love fashion or simply want to work on developing and refining your personal style, Parisian Chic is a must read.

I really want this book! Thanks for reminding me – I saw it in a bookshop at the weekend, think it’ll be going on my birthday wish list :-)
I love parisian style- definitely checking this book out!
i literally just stopped reading this post so that i can order the book. not that i lost interest in fashion/style, but i sort of set it aside a bit to focus on other areas… now it’s back into prime focus… so this recommendation comes at a perfect time. love that :).
